:+ FUNERAL SERVICES TO BE HELD TODAY FOR C. M. LINK0US Funeral services for C. M. Linkous, Linkous, 72, retired street car motorman, will be held at 2:30 o'clock this afternoon afternoon at the Linkous home, 1125 Bluefield avenue, with the Rev. W. M. Morrell, of Pulaski, Va., a close friend of the family, presiding. He will be assisted by the Rev. J. E. Davis, of Jenkiujones. Burial will be in Monte Vista park, Mr. Linkous died at 4:35 o'clock Sunday morning in the Bluefield sanitarium where he had been a patient patient since last Wednesday, following following a stroke of paralysis. Mr. Linkous was born in Bland county in 18G1. Ho would have been 73 years old had ho lived until April 21. He was in the service of the street railway here for twenty-two years, and as such became known to hundreds hundreds of local ci'izens He was retired retired about seven years ago. Surviving are his widow, who before before marriage was Miss Alice Keeling, Keeling, of Rocky Gap. Bland county, and one son, Charles Linkous Jr. A sister, sister, Mrs. Susan Honaker, of Lincoln county. West Virginia. Is the only member of Mr. Linkous' immediate family. His parents, nine brothers and sisters preceded him to the erave. Mr. Linkous was a member of tho Christian church. Pallbearers will be nephews of Mr. Linkous. while his nieces will act as flower hearers. Friends of the family furnishing cars are requested to have them at the Bluefield avenue address not later than 2 o'clock. ' '
