ChurchOn Island' Will Have Dinner And Annual Sale Event Planned for Wednesday, July 29, Will Interest ; Entire Group Grosse lie, Mich., July 25. A! N ANNUAL event which will interest a number of Detroit society people as well every one on the Island Is the din ner and sale wnicn win ne given by the Altar society of the Sacred Heart church on YVednosriay, July 29. This affair is always a festive occasion, which is attended by young and old and is equalled by no other single event during the year for good-fellowship and a. genuine eood time. Mrs. Edgar Fitzgerald is general fhalrman of the affair, and Mrs. Ttavmond H. Hogan and Mrs. H. L. Baron will act as hostesses. In charee of the tables will be Mrs Leander Knight, ' Mrs. Raymond Grundv. Miss Margaret Holland and Miss Elizabeth Johnson. In the kitchen will he Mrs. Fred Burdeno, Mrs. Orlln C. Moore. Mrs. Gregory Johnson. Mrs. Stanley Petroskey, Mrs. E. D. Gatfield, Mrs. Louts Grundv, Miss Huttie Boucher and Mr. Fred Gottwerth. Tents will be erected on the lawn hack of Msgr. Hunt's house for the booths. In the art booth will bo Mrs. William T. Gage, Mrs. John Mayers. Mrs. Duncan J. McNnbb, Mrs. Charles T. Fisher and Mrs. Edward Stitmm, Mrs. John Bcy-ster, Mr.". A. Lou In O'Connor and Miss M. Bess McWilliams will have charge of the baked goods, and Mrs. Charles Gronda, Mrs. William Grundy, Mrs. Fred Linley and Mrs. Theodore Warrow will sell linens end comforters. At the apron booth will be Mrs. Fred Gottwerth, Mrs. P. J. Normandin, Mrs. Ray Morrison, Mrs. Chris Ballman and Miss Katherine Brodhead. Miss Maude Lafayette, Miss Opal Stumm and Miss Stella Gronda will be at the candy booth, while Mrs. Emil Imhoff, Mrs. William PeUalen and Miss Eileen Mills will have charge of parcel post.
