rJiRL DIES WHILE AFTER OPERATION Funeral services will be held at two o'clock Wednesday afternoon for 17 - year - old Mildred DeGolyer, of Mt. Jewett, who died of embolism yesterday as she was leaving the Kane Summit hospital apparently ! recovered from an appendectomy, - i lhe girl, who was operated on' eleven days ago; was leaving the 1 hospital with her parents, Mr. and' Mrs. Edward DeGolyer at 9:45 o - clock yesterday morning when she was stricken. Carried back to her bed, she died almost instantly as the blood clot reached her heart. Miss DeGolyer was the second member of the Class of 1939 at Mt. Jewett High school to meet sudden death the past four weeks. Richard Richard Adair, 17 - year - old athlete, drown ed while swimming in a pond at lialsey July 28. In excellent health until she was taken ill with appendicitis, Miss DeGolyer DeGolyer was admitted to the Summit hospital on August 11 and was operated operated on the same day. She recovered recovered rapidly and yesterday her parents parents came to take her home. Her mother was assisting her on one side and her father on the other as they started to walk out of the room. Miss DeGolyer was a popular member of the younger set and was quite active in affairs of the school. ! She was a member of the Methodist church of Mt.
