Carter of Crile hospital, was the guest speaker at the February February meeting of the Ohio State Nurses association, district No. 1 Tuesday evening in the nurses home, at city hospital. The Indus- ° trial nursing section was in charge of the program and prior to the meeting had a dinner at the New Venice Gardens, Lincoln Way E, in honor'of Capt. Popoczy. Covers were laid for 20. Mrs. Octa Belch was in charge of the dinner and program. Capt. Popoczy of the army nurse corps discussed the recruitment of nurses and pointed out the demands and requirements of army nurses. She spoke of her experience at Camp Atterbury, Ind., where she was stationed for 26 -months prior to her Crile appointment. Fifty members atended the meeU. ing. Miss Edna Streb of New Philadelphia, Philadelphia, district president, presided and had charge of the business meeting.
