A Much Needed Precaution. .Representatives of the Delaware Lackawanna & Western Railway Co., the Lehigh Valley Railroad Co.. the Wyoming Valley Traction Co. and the borough are working together In an ef fort to reach an agreement over the question of proportional expense in the erection of an overhead bridge that will be used by the traction company In crossing the tracks of the railways at the borough line. Tentative plans provide that the structure he 1,200 feet in length and that It shall cost in the proximity - of $27,000. Of this sum the railway officials ask that the borough pay $1,000 and. In addition purchase the property on which one of the abutments will stand. The property In question is valued nt $4, - 000, making the borough's share of the expense $5,000. The bulance, $22,000 Is to be shared by the three corporations. corporations. The foregoing proposition was submitted to the borough by Attorneys Attorneys Daniel Reese and John McDon ald, who represent the companies. As far as the borough Is concerned in the matter, nothing has been done about the proposition as yet
