Brown vs. Board of Education
The question-"Does segregation of children in schools solely on the basis of race, though the physical facilities and other 'tangible' factors may be equal, deprive the children of the minority group of equal education opportunity? We believe that it does." And the heart of the decision-"We conclude that in the field of education, the doctrine of separate-but- equal has no place. Separate educational facilities are inherently unequal." The decision was unanimous.
