Martha Harms dies

Harmp were held Wednesday Jin the Peace Lutheran Ctiurch h,ere with burial in the West .Bend cemetery. The Schellhammer Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. She was born Martha Leicht- fus at Kankakee, 111. and was reared there. She later moved to West Bend, taught in rural schools and clerked in a grocery grocery store until her marriage to Herman Harms at West Bend in 1916. He died in 1967 after the couple celebrated their golden wedding anniversary the year before. Surviving is a son and daughter, daughter, Richard Harms and Wll- helmlna Harms, both of West Bend; two grandchildren; a step-brother and step-sister, Herbert Balgeman, West Bend, and Mrs. Alma Campbell of Canada.
