HE HAD HIS BROTHER'S NAME. It Was John and Not George Lamb Who Was Arrested George's Name on Docket. George Lamb called a the police barracks yesterday afternoon to state that It was his brother John and not he wha had been arrested and fined $15 tor as sisting to sell old clothes George s name was on the police docket nd the man tried in police court had an- wred to the name of George Lamb Sergeant Carlisle explained to George that John had simply given the wrong name when he was arrested John Lamb who was fined $15. afterwards had the fine remitted by the re corder the arresting officers stating that they believed he had acted In good faith hen helping the negro to dispose of the clothing George Lamb is a hard working man and ha. never had his name connected with the police court at ye5ter ay as- 1.t1n and J oJlce arrJ' .ted. re- when ne o dJs Ose ct \X't.
