St, Olson, Beloit! 1939 a Indian Float Parade Winner Washington's Indian tepee complete with young "Injuns in full war. paint" carried off top honors for floats in the annual playground parade here Tuesday evening. • The parade formed on S, River 8tre<!t, moved on Milwaukee street to Main street and continued down Main to the Junior High School, where Dr. Robert Karraker, president president of the board of education, prei^ented awards. Second place in the float contest contest was awarded to Fourth Ward for its "Cinderella," and Adams' Scottish theme float took third. The floats were in keeping with the "Folk-O-Rama" theme, carried carried out later in the pageant in the junior high auditorium. Awards for the most gaily decorated decorated bicycles went to Lonnie Schwartzlow and Rogina Angilello,. Angilello,. Grant, first; Sue Pennycook, Roosevelt, second; and Jane Fredrick, Jefferson, third. Doll buggy awards were won by Donna Jean Garske, Wilson, first; Donna Jean Roedel, Wilson, second; second; and Sherry Strelcheck, Vets, third. 'Tricycle awards; Kristinc Doll, Grant, first; Dean Bork, Roosevelt, Roosevelt, second; Tim VoUmar and Rita Robb, Old Washington, third. Wagon - awards: Nancy Berk, Grant, first; Dick Raasch, Vista, second; Sandra Wallisch, Old Ad ams, third, • Awards were presented,to the cutest individuals: Tramps: Tom Fall, Adams, first; Eva Butler, Fourth Ward, fsecond; Janice Garske, Old Adams, Adams, third. Clowns: Tommy Higgins, Ad­ ams, Beckman, Larsen, Eileen lo, third. spot to ; !Elvis roll
