Vance Morris FREDERICA - Vance Morris, 67, of R.D. 1, died Monday of cancer cancer in Peninsula Medical Center, Salisbury. Mr. Morris was an insurance salesman in the Dover area until he became a full-time full-time full-time retriever trainer. He earned a national reputation, reputation, winning many field trials and training champion dogs from all over the country. He also farmed and owned the Tradewinds Fishing Fleet in Bowers Beach. He retired in January. He was a member of First Baptist Baptist Church of Dover and a lifetime member of Robbins Hose Fire Company Company of Dover. He is survived by his wife, Edith; three sons, D. Vance of Frederica, John H. of Mattapoisett, Mass., and William G. of Milford; and four grandchildren. Memorial services will be Thursday Thursday at 2 p.m. in Barrett's Chapel, Frederica. Burial will be private. Instead of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the American Cancer Society, 736 N. Du Pont Highway, Dover 19901.
