Glenn Houchins Dies At 60 Glenn Dudley Houchins, 60, longtime Mexico barber, died at the Audrain Medical Center at 7:45 a. m. today following a brief illness. He became ill Sunday, and death was attributed to a heart condition. Funeral services will be at 2 p. m. Saturday at Arnold funeral home, conducted by the Rev. Frank L. Park, pastor of the First Baptist Church. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. Born in Shamrock in Callaway County on May 6, 1911, Mr. Houchins was the son of Carl and Ollie Dudley Houchins. On June 9, 1935, he was married to Mary Sevall, who survives at the home at 804 S. Western Ave. He joined the Harmony. Baptist Church when a young boy, and had been active in the First Baptist Church for many years. Mr. Houchins had barbered in Mexico since 1935, and was owner and operator of Houchins parber Shop. A veteran of World War II, he' spent sometime stationed in Saipan. Surviving with his wife is his mother, Mrs. Ollie Houchins, who resides at Coldwell Nursing Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home after 7 o'clock Friday.
