Tobias, 31-year ol-d truck driver, of Jonestown Route 1, and a veteran of World War II iu thg European Theatre, of Opel- ations. died last night in the Good- Samaritan Hospital, the second victim of a fatal motor vehicle crash that occurred near Bethel, Berks County, In the early morning morning of last December 24i George Ollar 30, of Jonestown Route 1, was killed instantly when his car collided with a tractor-trailer outfit outfit operated by Harry J. Stagg, 26. of Bloomfield, N, J. Tobias, who WHS riding in the Ollar car at the time of-the crash, suffered a fractured skull, and was a patient in the hospital since the accident. George A. Noll, 25, Bloomfield, N.' J. riding in the truck suffered slight Injuries for which he was treated at the hospital hospital and discharged. Tobias lived near Bordnersville, west of-Lickdale. of-Lickdale. He is survived by his wife, nee Metty Schooncver; a daughter, Mary Louise, and his mother Mrs, Mary Tobias A sister Mrs. May Eixler, Lebanon, also survives. He was a member of the AVsl- mer's Lutheran Church. At the lime of .the crash he was commander commander of th? Veterans of Foreign Wars Post st Lickdale, and belonged belonged to the Connor-Strelchur Post, American Legion at Annvilla.
