Leon and Patsy Oxendine Marriage announcement
Patsy Hurst Married To Leon Oxendine Miss Patsy Hurst of Stark City, and Leon Oxcmdine, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Oxendine of Stark City, were married at the home of the groom's parents at 2 p.m., Tuesday, March 29. Rev, C. C. Ground, pastor of the 1 Methodist church in Goodman solemnized the vows. The bride's dress was of white embroidered nylon with white accessories and a white carnation corsage. The groom wore a light tan business suit. They were , attended by Miss Alice Hawk and Carrol Parmley of Stark City and the bride was given in marriage by her friend, Jerry Jackson. After the ceremony, the wedding cake and punch were served to the following close friends and relatives; Misses Georgia Meyers, Lawaync Watts, Judy Keebaugh, Dolly Parmley, Binnie Landrcth, Margaret Benton, Alice Hawk, Carrol Parmiey, Dale Lowe, Jerry Jackson, Mrs. Jack White of Wichita, Mr. and Mrs. G. T. Haase, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Haasc and Earline of Pierce City, Mr. and Mrs. J. W.. Hollingworth of Goodman, Rev. and Mrs. Ground, Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Oxendine and Norma. The couple left immediately after the reception for Wichita, where Mr. Oxendine is employed _in a Safeway store. They will be at home at 217 E. 15th Street.
