FISHERMEN ARE BRINGING IN KING STORIES Kingfish School Is Running Off Fort Lauderdale Beach; Many Caught The Kings are still running! This was proven in yesterday's fishing in which one party and two commercial trips participated. The sea was extremely choppy and made trolling difficult and landing tedious but the kingfish were out there in full force. The one party out included Ernst E. Lehman of Coconut Grove, Miami; John W. Axton of Tarry town, N. T., and C. D. Harryman of Garden City, Long Island, and Miami Beach. The boat was Frank R. Merritt's "Caliban." The party brough in 13 kings. Mr. Harryman has been a winter resident for 12 years but this was his first trip to Fort Lauderdale. He was agreeably surprised at the scenery and novelty of the river and land west of the city when he went for a trip up the river yesterday. Mr. Harryman fished with Merritt last summer off Long Island and came up from Miami Beach yesterday to continue the acquaintance. R. Van Nostrand was out in his boat "Marion" . without a party twice yesterday and brought in 21 kings in the morning and 15 in tbe afternoon. T. K. Edwins and "Tarn" Cain were also doing commercial fishing yesterday afternoon and landed 9 kings.
