Rachel E. Thayer, 84, of 16203 Randall St., Fontana, died Thursday in a Fontana hospital. She was born in Wisconsin and lived in Fontana four years. She was a homemaker and a 30-year member of the High-Park Travel Club. She belonged to the Christian Science Church. Survivors include a daughter Henrietta of Fontana. Friends may visit from 1 to 5 p.m. today in Ingold Chapel. Burial will be Sunday in Beverly Cemetery, Blue Island, Ill.
