but last the Diners, Mr Templeton, Miss Mary E. Hildreth TOWNSEND, Dec. 11--Miss Mary Elizabeth Hildreth, 79, died early yesterday morning at her apartment in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Merrill, Main street Miss Hildreth was born here March 15, 1866, a daughter of T. and Sarah (Francis) Hildreth. With the exception of a few years spent in Boston and Florida she resided in Townsend. In her early life she was a seamstress. She was a charter member of Phoebe Weston Farmer tent, D. UVCW, a member of the Woman's Society of Christian Service of Methodist church. One of her chief hobbies was the keeping of a diary. She recently completed her 66th year of keeping such, a diary. frnntt 13 years of age. Miss Hildreth Is survived by two cousins, Mrs. Angle Lang of Townsend and Charles Hildreth of Boston and a niece, Mrs. Ruth Fetreze of Dedham. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 o'clock from the home of Mr. and Mrs. Harry with Rev. William E. Anderson, pastor of Pepperell Methodist church, officiating. The Daughters of Veterans will conduct their ritual service and members will meet at 1.45 at the home of Mrs. MerrilL Burial will be in Hillside cemetery. a FL door was the .ary" ~wa» a 1
