Thomas H. Wheaton has just completed a little cottage on Joaquin Miller's property in Fruit Vale, for the poet. The cottage is romantically situated in the hills back of Fruit Vale, in a little canyon. The cottage is of a rambling romantic style of architecture, and was built to suit the ideas of the poet. It is intended for a little summer cottage, to which Mr. Miller can retire in the sunny days. There is a stable near the cottage.
