Mr. Knoles was returning from Springfield where he had taken wife to a hospital in that city, is survived by his widow and children, one an infant son i at the hospital yesterday. He was commander of the Walter Heed Post of the American American Legion at Virginia, ami was a member of the Forty and Eight Voiture at Heardstown. Mr Knoles was well known to nu mber'- of the local Forty and Eight, having b en initiated into membership of this Voiture at the ( • ntennial promenade held here «t June.
