Berwick Berwick of Hillsborough traveled north for the marriage of their ;on, air force Lt. Andrew Berwick Jr., to Phyllis Elaine Pearson in a ceremony-which took place yesterday yesterday at Temple Baptist church in Portland, Ore. With the Bcr- wicks was their daughter, Barbara, Barbara, recently back from' summer session at the University of Hawaii Hawaii and assigned to a bridesmaid role in the wedding. ( The young officer and his bride will be at home in Houston, near his post at Ellington air lores base. Both are University of Oregon Oregon graduates, Phyllis an Alpha Chi Omega and Andrew a member member of Beta Theta Pi at the Eugene campus. The new matron plans to teach grammar school in Houston. For her marriage Phyllis wore a gown of Chantilly lace and tulle, its bouffant skirt banded in lace. A tiara of seed pearls and sequins held her fingertip illusion veil, and she carried a bouquet of stephanotis and orchids. Daughter of the Philip B. Pearsons Pearsons of Portland, Phyllis had as maid of honor her sister, Laura. Laura and the bridesmaids, including including Mrs. Donald W, Empey and Mrs. Clyde H. Fahlman, both of Salem, Ore., were dressed in blush pink nylon eyelet gowns banded with deeper pink ette and carried crescent bouquets bouquets of pink gladioli. Masculine members of the wedding wedding party, all northwesterners, included Walter. Meihoff as best man and Don Imb'rie, Clyde Fahlman, Fahlman, Malcolm Amondsen, Richard Richard Buren, Emerson Harvey and Jack Socolofsky as ushers. A Patou-designed sheath o£ gray brocade, a pearl embroidered embroidered hat and pink orchids made up Mrs. Pearson's costume. Mrs. Berwick was dressed in a taupe colored ribbon and yarn sheath and added a matching hat, brown accessories and pink orchids. A reception in the church hall followed the 4 o'clock ceremony for which the altar was decorated with arrangements of pink and white flowers accented by ferns and pink candles. s v *
