j THE DEATHS Magna - . William Magner, for more tlufti forty - nine years a resident of Monroe township, township, dlod Saturday morning of an affection affection of his hoart. He waa a little more than 78 years of age, and a cabinetmaker cabinetmaker by trade. During his early lifo ho was the only undertaker In the villago of Monroevllle, and .made a great number of - the coffins" he used, by hand. In spite of his advanced years Mr. Magner had enjoyed good health until Friday, whon he complained of a pain In the region of bis hoart. The surviving family consists of his widow and Ave sons J. II., Sylvester and E. 0. Magner, of Monroovlllo; Wiley Wiley Magner, of Decatur, and Ell Magner, Magner, of this city. The deceased en - Joyed an extensive acquaintance In the county and held the highest esteem of tho3o who knew him. Funeral services will be held at Monroevllle Monday afternoon, and will be nnder the direction of the Masonic Masonic bodies there.
