Former Hancock County Representative Representative Curtis Â· G. Riehm was elected chairman of the county convention which convened at courthouse in Garner Friday morning. Mrs. Bertha Brown was elected secretary. Hancock County State Rep. Lenabell Bock gave the keynote address at the convention. Eighty- six of the 131 officials delegates were present, The convention went on record criticizing the deficit spending the federal administration for creating a clouded business picture and national economy. Former State Rep. Curtis G. Riehm was , re-elected chairman of the County Republican Central Committee, at the organization meeting held immediately following following the county convention. Mrs. [ Pearle Redden of Britt . elected vice chairman. Twenty-three delegates were elected to attend the Stale Republican Convention in Des Moines July 20. They are Thelma Arnold, Arnold, L. R.
