During her high school years she placed three years in a district. 4-H electric contest, her prizes amounting to :$100. She served three years asj)resident of the Dallas County 4-H Council and lias just finished a term as secretary secretary of the District IV Council. She took part in varied high school activities. During the past summer she attended a ' 4-H camp at Trinidad. "I decided last December that I' would come to Tech," she said. "I came to Lubbock to look around and felt at once that Tech would be the college for me," . Sonya, who is living in the freshman freshman dormitory, Drane Hall,, enrolled enrolled in the Home Economics Division. Division. Her late registrationMvas not her own fault. She is here on a $250 Farm Bureau scholarship, and her scholarship check was late in arriving. On hand to congratulate her were Dr. E.
