Masonic temple Monday evening. They plan to make this a feature at future meetings. Plans were made for a school of instruction to be held May 8. Mrs. Martin Larson, Mason City, and Mrs. Ballard, Ballard, West Union, will give the instructions. New members will be initialed. JMiss Cannon, G. Nannenga Are Married Clear Lake — Miss Melva Jean Cannon, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Emmons Cannon, Ventura, became the bride of George W. Nannenga, Garner, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Nannenga, Klemme, in a wedding ceremony a I the Lakeside church Thursday. The Rev. George A. Wolfe, Iowa Falls, read the double ring service at 12:30 o'clock. Attendants were Miss Bonnie Allen, Plymouth, and Earl Cannon, Cannon, brother of the bride. Miss Joan Miles played the traditional traditional wedding marches and accompanied accompanied Miss Beverly Byerly who sang "Because," "I Love You Truly'' and "Lord's Prayer." Miss Cannon, who was given in marriage by her parents, wore a blue street length dress with matching accessories and a corsage corsage of red roses. She also wore her mother's gold stone necklace worn by Mrs. Cannon at her own wedding 25 years ago. Miss Allen wore a rose taupe dress with matching accessories and corsage of pink carnations. Mrs. Cannon and Mrs. Nannenga, mothers of the bride and bridegroom, bridegroom, respectively, wore black with corsages of pink and white carnations. Guests from away included Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Billings. Springview, Springview, Nebr.; Mmes. Gale Laudermilk Laudermilk and Roy Kessel. Mable, Minn.: Mr. and Mrs. Henry Johnson Johnson and Marilyn, Alexander; Miss Bessie Smidt, Meservey. and other friends and acquaintances from Clear Lake, Goodell, Garner, Klenime and Ventura. A reception was held in the church parlors. Mrs. Laudcrmilk, aunt of the bride, and Mrs. Kcs- sel, served the cake and Mrs. Billings Billings poured. Miss Lorraine Abel was in charge of the guest book. Mr. and Mrs. Nannenga went on a wedding trip to Minnesota and are now at home on a farm near Garner. Mrs. Nannenga was graduated graduated from Ventura high school. Mr. Nannenga served with the army in 1he Pacific area several year?.
