In obedience to the call of the Chairman, Executive Committee met ia the Arbitration Room, June 19th, 1866. J. H. WHITE was elected Secretary of the Committee. The Chairman reported the following gentlemen as having accepted their appointments: Col. W. W. Stewart, Lt. Col. E. Q. Fahnestock, Maj. H. S. Benner, Maj. Robert Bell, Capt. J. H. Plank, Capt. E. McGinley, W. H. Brogunier, Adj. J. H. White, Lt. B. Ilersh, Lt. Samuel H. Eicholtz. And the following as having declined : Lt. George Wilson and Lt. George K. Duttera. On motion George W. Mullen was substituted substituted for George Wilson and Rufus C. for George K. Duttera. Lt. Col. E. G. Fahnestock was then elected Treasurer of the Committee. On motion it was resolved, That, for purpose of facilitating the operations of the Committee, the county be divided into 11 according to schedule hereto annexed, which shall severally be under the charge of a of the Committee, and which shall report said member for instructions, and said shall have authority to fill vacancies occur in said sub-committee. That the Sub-Committee shall make the subscriptions cash as far as practicable, and all moneys collected be paid to the having charge of the district, and by him treasurer of the Executive Committee, On motion it was resolved, That Aaron be authorized to make such arrangements lie may think best for securing the interests all the Schools in the county hi this The Committee adjourned to meet again the calling of the Chairman.
