Tuesday evening at 8 o'clock at the North Park Congregational church occurred occurred the marriage of Mr. George Henry Parker and Miss Evangeline Mary Riddle. The church was decorated decorated with palms, smllax and roses. Miss Fannie Wllklns sang a solo, accompanied accompanied by Mr. W. H. Helghton, Just before Mrs. Long played Lohengrin's wedding march. The bridal party entered entered the church in the following order: The ushers, Messrs. Moyer, D. T. Pat-ton, Pat-ton, Pat-ton, Will Avery and James Campbell, leading, followed by Miss Clara Bab- Bab- cock, in light blue organdy, carrying pink roses, and the bride, attended by her father, Mr. O. C. Riddle. They were met at the altar by the groom and best man, Mr. James Hewett. Rev. B. St. John, assisted by Rev. J. S. Colby, performed the ceremony, the ring service service being used. 5The bride's gown was white ewiss mull, lace and insertion trimmed, and she carried bride roses. Mrs. Long played Mendelssohn's wedding wedding march while they departed from the church. After the ceremony a reception reception was given at the home of the groom's mother, Mrs. M. L. Parker on Arlington avenue. The guests, numbering numbering sixty, were received by Mr. and Mrs. O. C. Riddle, the latter wearing green organdy; Mrs. M. L. Parker, in a white organdy gown, and the bride and groom. The floral decorations were roses, daisies, carnations, sweet peas, palms and smllax. Miss Bertha Smith assisted In the parlors. Misses Lura Riddle and Bertha Daily, in gowns of white swiss, presided over the bowl of frappe. Refreshments were served in the dining room. The table decorations were a center bouquet of pink and white carnations, with ropes of smilax from the chandelier to the four corners. Misses Helen Riddle, Lucy Parker, Bertha Bertha Hess, Mamie Babcock, Emma and Bea Rollinson, each attired in organdy gowns, dispensed the hospitalities in the dining room. Grace and Frankie Riddle, in white, directed the way upstairs. upstairs. The bride is the second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Riddle and has been a teacher in the primary department of Lake Park schools in North Des Moines. Mr. 7,'arker is depty county treasurer. Mr. and Mrs. Parker will have a romantic wedding trip up the river in the house boat of Mr. Tacitus Hussey. They will be gone about a week. After their return they will be at home to their friends at VjM Arlington Arlington avenue. '
