Elwood Men, Women .... In The Services Pfe. William A. Starr has returned returned to Buckingham Air Field, Ft. Myers Florida, after spending spending a fourteen day furlough here with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Starr, of 616 South 18th street, and his sister, Mrs. Robert Robert Harmon. Word has been received from Cp'. Harold L. Yocom, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Yocom, that he has arrived safely overseas and I stationed somewhere in England. Sgt. Clifford Drake, of Buckley Buckley Field, Colorado, is home on a fifteen day furlough visiting hig wife, and parents. Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Drake of South A street. Mr. and Mrs. Ross Jones, of 1302 South F street, have receiv ed a telegram from their son, Pvt. Rom Jones Jr., stating that he is at the Stark General Hospital, Hospital, Charleston, South Carolina. Carolina. Pvt. Jones has been overseas overseas for the past five months and his parents received word from him in October saying that he had been wounded in Italy. Pfe. Robert II. Robertson, husband husband of Mrs. Robert Robertson, residing at 1301 South J street, and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Vern Robertson, of 1402 South K Street upon his return to Hawnll, after fighting in the Gilbert Islands, Islands, found on Old friend, Cpl. Tech. Robert GroSestreurr sitting sitting on his bunk, and was he thrilled. They enjoyed a nice long chat. Grossestreuer has spent his third Christmas In Ha-waiil. Ha-waiil. Ha-waiil.
