At St James Catholio Church a brilliant wedding took place Wednesday morning. - The contracting parties were Miss Mary E. O'Don-neU, an accomplished and beautiful young lady of the South Side, and Mr. M. McDennott. of the well-known firm or McDennott A O'Brien, builders. The ceremony was performed during a solemn nuptial mas celebrated by tbe Bev, Hngh MoGuire, assisted by the Bev. Fathers ! McDonnell and McCann. The bride and groom '. were attended by Miss Julia Greene, sister of the Ber. Joseph Ureene, ot jouet, lormtriy assistant pastor of St James', and Mr. W. O'Brien. The bride, a handsome brunette, waa arrayed in a light cream moire antique, an deo-ollette, with a graceful train. The costume was rare in style, being most tastefully adorned with pearl trimmings and lace. Her hair waa becomingly arranged with tips and a diamond cres cent The bridesmaid waa attired in a light cream faille and lace, with a corsage bouquet of delicate pink roses. The wedding breakfast waa served at the home of the bride's parents, . only the near relatives being present ' At 4:30 ' o'clock he bridal partv proceeded to the future homeof the bride. 2u. 351i8 Wabash avenue, where they partook of a delicious supper. Tbe happy pair started on the evening train for Xewport Kews. where they took the steamer Ai-lmca for an extended douth American trip.
