SJsPTEMBI3 18 ISOf I WEST TrnTr 7iil WEBER PIONEER DEAD WILLIAM McFARLAND PASSES AWAY OF GENERAL DEBILITY Was 71 Years Old and Leaves a Large Family and Other Relatives in This County William McFarland ono of tho oarly builders of Utah and among the most highly icspccted citizens of West We l or tIled at his home in Vest Weber this morning at 1005 oclock of general general debility Mr MeFarland did not enjoy very good health through tho Slimmer yet his taking away was nol expected at this time The deceased was born In Scotland In the year 1838 lie came to Utah In iSfifj locating at West Wnbcr in 1S59 where ho resided the balance of his lifeHe He is survived by a wife eight sons two daughters twentythree grandchildren grandchildren three brothers and ono sister all of whom reside at West Wcbcr and Ogden Mr McFarland followed farming all his life and ho was among the pioneers pioneers of sturdy manhood In the up building of this state and Webor county county He loaves numerous friends besides his Immediate relatives who will greatly mourn his death Tho funeral announcement will lm made later T L I
