Wilmington Star: Persons arriving arriving on the train by the C. F. & Y. V. Railroad yesterday evening report a terrible outrage committed on a respectable respectable young white girl at Frauk liusville, Randolph county, last Wed nesday night. The victim is Miss Russell, aged about sixteen years. She had been suffering all day with toothache, and after night fall, throwing throwing a shawl over her hend, went out of the house into the backyard, where she was assaulted by some unknown man who overpowered find choked her, leaving her insensible on the ground, where sho was found sometime sometime alterward by members of her family. There is no clue to the perpetrator perpetrator of the crime, but a posse of citizens is scouring the eountrj', and if the guilty party i;4 caught a lynching lynching will follow. Miss Russell is reported reported iu a precarious coudition, with little hope of recovery.
