12 BROOKL A RECENT out of town wedding of much Brooklyn interest interest was that of Miss Rebecca Ross Merritt, daughter daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Augustus H. Merritt; of Halsey street, who was married a week ago Wednesday to Mr. Rowland J. Simes, junior, son of Mr. and Mrs, R. J. Simes of Park Place. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Dr. Potterton of the Church of Our Father, at the beautiful estate of the bride's uncle, Mr. Henry Brown, "The Lindens," Lindens," Hastings-on-Hudson. Hastings-on-Hudson. Hastings-on-Hudson. The plans for an out-of-door out-of-door out-of-door out-of-door out-of-door wedding were most successfully realized, the bride being married at noon on the. lawn in front of the house. She was gowned in white silk mulle princess effect, trimmed with duchesse lace and carried brides roses. The bride and groom will spend part of the summer at Moriches, with the latter's parents at their country home and later go to Maine.
