Santa Claus Recital and Ball Elaborate and artistic plans for the Santa Claus Recital and Ball, which will be given on December 18 in the grand ballroom of the Hotel Plaza, are well under way. A feature of the occasion will be a resplendently decorated decorated Christmas tree which the committee in charge of arrangements announces will be sent after the performance performance to a hospital for deaf and dumb children. The old idea of Christmas celebration with Christmas candles, mistletoe and holly, the quaint poetry and song of other days and the old-fashioned old-fashioned old-fashioned Yuletide spirit will be carried out to the most minute detail. I'hoxo by ita L., ti.lt . MISS CORNELIA DURYEA LIVINGSTON Everybody is buying new gowns and hats to wearnot only in the Fashion Show, but at the Fashion Show. Of course, all those who are in the Show will be attired in Center Shop models, but Brooklyn women are surely coming, to think they must have a Center Shop gown when they want to look ' particularly smart. Plans for "Debutante's Day" are progressing in leaps and bounds. This is the attractive program to be given at the Hotel St. George on November 22nd, for the benefit of The Brooklyn Maternity Center Association. Keen interest is being shown, and responses to the very attractive invitations are coming in thick and fast Those in charge have secured several members of Mr. Bert Hirsche's Orchestra to render some of their very lovely music during the "Cycle of Tableaux." There are rumors of dance music after the performance, too. . Mrs. Charles F. Neergaard and Mrs. Oliver G. Carter are coralling mannikins. Among the Patronesses are Mrs. Hector C.
