Laura Highsmith MtViemon Laura J. HIghsmith, »4, of e08 Main St., died at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Good Samar itan Hospital. She was bom May 10,1882, in Jefferson Coiinty, the daughter of Lewis and Julia Ann (WUllams) Hi^tsmtth. She was first marriedon June 5, 1898, 'to William B. Reece, who preceded her in death In 1952. On April 21, 1960, She married Samuel S. HIghsmith, who survives. She was a member ol Camp Ground Baptist Church, and of the Royal Neighbors. Besides her husband, she is survived by a son, Lloyd V. Reece of Winter Haven, Fla.; a daughter, Edith M. Wesfof Florissant, Mo.; a sister, Julia Pettlt of Mt. Vernon; three grandchildren and six great­ grandchildren; five stepchildren. stepchildren. Gale HIghsmith of Milwaukee, Wise., Coral HIghsmith of Sallda, Colo,, Dale HIghsmith of Denver, Colo., Helen Turgeon of Vacavlllc, Calif., antlDorthea Llttrell of Evanston; ami nine step-grandchlldren and 11 step-great-grandchUdren. Funeral arrangements will be announced later from Myers-Barll Funeral Service.
