Former Hcsidcni Of * Huron Marries Fred (Bud) Bayer, a former resident resident of near Huron, now of Blackstone, Blackstone, 111., was married to Miss Lauretta Bridges of Cornell, 111., on Wednesday, Aug. 21, 1940, at Davenport, la. The young couple kept their marriage a secret until recently. Mr. and Mrs. Bayer will make their home on the farm of Dr. Wilson, near Blackstone, which the groom has been farming the past several years. The bride was born and raised the vicinity in which she will take up her new home. The groom, together together with his parents and two sisters, Clara and Rosemary, left here in the fall of 1931, since their home on the farm near Blackstone. Clara married Wilbur Russow September 8, 1934, and they have two children, Wilma, age five years and Bobby, age one year. On October October 7, 1937, Rosemary married Charles Russow, a brother of her sister's husband, and they have son, Charles, Jr., two years old. and Mrs. Fred Bayer, Sr., spent days visiting in and around Huron year ago.
