Born in Czechoslovakia, to the late Joseph and Pauline (Koraba) Stancovick, Mrs. Rice lived in Laurys Station before moving to Walnutport 4 years ago. She is survived by her 2d husband, Palmer Rice; a daughter Anna (Reese), wife of Franklin Johnson of Walnutport; a son, Martin Reese of Fullerton; 2 grandchildren; a sister,Violet, wife of Monroe Schadt of Laurys Station; and 5 brothers, Joseph and Stephen, Baltimore, MD; Frank, Charlotte, N.C.; Michael and Daniel, Walnutsport.
