SARAH A. PALMER Rites Set For Provo Woman, 86 Funeral services for Sarah Anson Palmer, 86, of 664 E. 200 S., Provo, who died Friday at the Utah Valley Hospital of a heart attack will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday in the Berg Drawing Room Chapel at 185 E. Center St., in Provo. Friends may call Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m. or Monday prior to services. The family requests that those wishing to do so contribute to the Crippled Chtldrens Hospital in Salt Lake City. Mrs. Palmer was born Aug. 20, 1885, to Thomas and Martha Owens Anson in Ironton, Ohio. She married Ike Palmer in December of 1909 in Ironton, Ohio. The family came to Provo in 1924. He died on Sept. 2,1909. Mr. Palmer was employed by Ironton Steel Plant as a master mechanic from. the time the family moved to Provo in 1924. They later moved to Norris Town, Penn., where they lived from 1939 to 1943 when they returned to Provo. They moved once again, to Montana, Calif., in 1944. When her husband died in Upland, Calif., Mrs. Palmer returned to Provo and has made her home here since that time. Mrs. Palmer's hobbies were fancy needlework, quilting, gardening and raising flowers. She is survived by two daughters, Mr. Charles W. (Edna) McGee, and Mrs. Paul A. (Helen) Brown, both of Provo; one son, Harold 0. Palmer, Island Park, Idaho; one brother, Arthur Anson, Ironton, Ohio; and one sister, Mrs. E.O. (Daisy) Henry, Ironton, Ohio.
