Joseph Asp, 86, Dunnell, Dies; Rites Conducted DUNNELL — Services were held yesterday at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Dunnell for Joseph Asp, 86, who died Thursday at the Jackson hospital. The Rev. John Mattson officiated. Burial was in Lake Fremont Cemetery. The Sathe Funeral Home at Jackson was in charge of arrangements. He was born in Denmark, Ohio, Feb. 5, 1883. On Jan. 17, 1917 he married Ellen Oselius. He came to Minnesota as a young man and worked as a carpenter. He farmed for several years three miles west of Dunnell. He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Earl(Veona)Rossow, Dunnell; a son, Herbert at Nisswa; six grandchildren; three brothers, Arthur of Fairmont, Ed of Conneaut, Ohio, and Frank of Ashtabu, Ohio. Also surviving is Mrs. Nadine Joos of Pope Air Force Base, N. C., who was raised by the Asp family.
