Schar-Rossow Wedding Takes Place In Home Rites at Storm Lake Lohrvllle (THNS) — Miss Doris Schar, daughter of F. L. Schar of Storm Lake, became the bride of Harold Blair Rossow of Lohrvllle, son of Mr. and Mrs, J. H. Rossow, at 3 o'clock Sunday afternoon Oct. 7 in the F. L. Schar home north of Storm Lake. The. double- ring ceremony was performed by, the Rev. L. H. Preul, pastor of the Methodist church at Clarion, formerly formerly pastor of the Rembrnmit- Truesdale Methodist churches. Attired in a gray wool street- length dress of lime trim the bride wore a corsage of American Beauty Beauty roses. The couple was unattended. unattended. The home was decorated with baskets of bronze and yellow chysanthemums, Mrs. Elsa Klinkenberg Klinkenberg played nuptial music. Following the ceremony, light refreshments were served by Mrs. Robert Tomlin and Mrs. William Schlee. , The couple left on a short trip to Omaha and other points in Nebraska. Mrs. Rossow is a graduate of the two-year kindergarten and primary course at Drake university, university, Des Moines. For the past two years she has been teaching at Humboldt. Mr. Rossow is a graduate of the Lohrvllle high school. He was recently recently discharged from the army air forces after serving three years in the Eighth Air Force, followed by an assignment at Morrison Field, West Palm Beach, Fla. He holds the Distinguished Flying Cross, the Air medal with three Ook Leaf clusters, Good Conduct medal, the ETO Ribbon with five battle stars and a Presidential unit citation. ' ,.<;
