Miss Fern lone Troyer became the bride of Thomas Miller Rice, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Rice of Sheldon. Mr. and Mrs. Oliver M. Troyer Sr., of Eureka are the parents of the bride. The double ring ceremony was read before 250 guests at 2 p. m. Sunday m the Christian Church at Eureka with the Rev. William William B. Weaver, pastor of the North Danvers Mennonite Church and Rev. Hilton Windley, pastor of the Eureka Christian Church, officiating. Mr. Troyer gave his daughter in marriage. Music was furnished by the or ganist, Prof. Grayson Brottmil- Brottmil- ler, and the soloist, Ralph 1m- 1m- hoff of Eureka. Silk Crepe Gown The bride's gown of white silk crepe extended into a train and the fitted bodice was accented at the yokeline with a fold of the same material. The neckline was styled with a Peter Pan collar and long sleeves extended to points over her hands. Mrs. John Troyer, sister-in-law sister-in-law sister-in-law sister-in-law sister-in-law of the bride, made the gown and the fingertip veil of silk illusion, edged with silk lace. The bridal bouquet was of white roses. Maid of honor was Miss An nette Hartter from Eureka, who wore a yellow nylon marquisette gown and carried a bouquet of yellow Talisman roses. Susan Troyer, niece of the bride from Eureka, as flower girl was dressed in light blue. Serving his brother-in-law brother-in-law brother-in-law brother-in-law brother-in-law as best man was Harold Deck. Jr. Donald Fuapel and Wilbur Yana of Sheldon were ushers. 200 Attend Reception Following the ceremony, a re ception was held in the Parish Hall for 200 truests. Music was provided by Miss Virginia Sutter of Eureka and the soloist was Mrs. Donald Maloney, former classmate of the bride from Peoria. Peoria. Mrs. William Schapmire, sister or tne bride, was in charge of the guest book . For a wedding journey to the eastern states, the bride chose a navy blue gabardine suit with navy and pink accessories. Her corsage was of white roses. The latter part of September the couple will be at home in Sheldon where the bridegroom is engaged in farming with his father. The bride was graduated from Eureka High School and the bridegroom from Sheldon High School. Mr. Rice also attended the University of Illinois where he was affiliated with the Farm house fraternity. Mrs. Verna Wood and Mrs Robert Troyer were hostesses at a variety shower honoring the bride August 27. A variety shower was also given Sept. 8 with Miss Annette Hartter, Miss Barbara Dickinson, Mrs. Arthur Cooper and Mrs. John Troyer as host esses.
