of J., baby's Evansville. Slabaugh-Burton Miss Martha Marie Burton became the bride of Joseph Franklin Slabaugh Saturday night in Main Street Church of Christ. Ben Wilson officiated. The bride is the daughter of Mr. Mrs. Robert D. Rodkey, 5014 Council Ring Blvd., and the bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Slabaugh, 1041 S. Webster St. A bouquet of daisies, Sweetheart roses, stephanotis and baby's breath complemented the bride's gown of organza organza with Nottingham lace trim. She wore a lace-trimmed mantilla. Miss Cindy Rodkey was maid of honor and bridesmaids were Miss Sue Slabaugh and Miss Donna Berndt. wore A-line floral gowns, picture hats and carried garden bouquets. Michelle Rodkey, West Lafayette, was flower girl and Nathan Sheagley, Hoopston, 111., carried the rings. Best man was Thomas Brown. Groomsmen and ushers were Brad Barber, Jerry Price, Fredrick Rodkey, Michael Calloway, Dean Rodkey and David Padgett. A church reception followed the ceremony ceremony and the Monday night rehearsal dinner was in Martino's Italian Villa Restaurant. Pre-bridal showers were given by Mmes. Fred Rodkey, Gene Sheagley, Dan Rodkey, Paul Shepherd and Douglas Schelberb and by Mrs. Bob Miss Cindy Rodkey, Mrs. Francis Cooksey and Miss Slabaugh. The bride is a 1969 graduate of Taylor High School and is employed by Wee World Day Care Center. Mr. Slabaugh is a 1970 graduate of Kokomo High School and is employed by Paint Store. . . Following a honeymoon in Cincinnati, Cincinnati, the couple will live in Kokomo.
