--Ptooto ty Ruth Andru* MRS. JOHN R. MEHARG Albany Girl And Dr. J. R. Meharg In Chapel Of St. Patrick's Cathedral Our Lady's Chapel of St. Patrick's Cathedral in New York was the scene at 11 a.m. today of the marriage of Miss Nancy Maynes, daughter of Mrs. James T. Maynes of 1421 Western Albany, and the late Mr, Maynes, : to Dr. John Richard Meharg, son of Mr. and Mrs. James I. Meharg of 32 Sheridan Ave., this city. The ceremony was performed by Rev. John F. Crotty. Mrs. Paul Vernon Harvey of Ithaca was the bride's only attendant. attendant. James W. Meharg of Troy was his brother's best man and the ushers were Dr. John H. Carter of New York City, and Dr. Hugh V. Foley of this city. The bride was given in marriage by her uncle, Francis J. Maynes. She wore a gown of peau de soie with a portrait neckline, fitted bodice bodice and full skirt ending in a chapel train. A cap of pearls held her fingertip veil of ivory illusion and she carried a bouquet o£ white orchids and tuberoses. Following a reception at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel, the couple left for Bermuda where they will spend their honeymoon. On their return they will make their home in New York City where the bridegroom bridegroom is on the staff of St. Vincent's Vincent's Hospital. Mrs. Meharg is an alumna of Vincentian Institute and Edgewood Edgewood Park School in Briarcliff Manor. Her husband, who served as an officer with the Navy x\ir Corps during World War II. was educated at Siena College, Rensselaer Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and Albany Albany Medical College.
