Fern Bailey - Boesewetter dies July 10, 1966
Boesewetter Mrs. Fern Geneva Boesewetter, Boesewetter, 59, wife of Lloyd Boesewetter Boesewetter of 612 Summit St., died at 5:45 p.m. Sunday in Alton Memorial Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Boesewetter, a receptionist receptionist at Ostertag Opticians for 14 years, hud been ill and hospitalized hospitalized only thiee weeks. The former Fern Geneva Bailey, Bailey, she was born in Alton, March 9, 1907, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Edward Bailey. She attended the Alton schools and during her early life had worked as a private secretary at Olin Mathieson Chemical Corp. Mrs. Boesewetter was a member member ot First Presbyterian Church. Her husband and a son, Edward, Edward, are her only immediate survivors. Two sisters and a brother brother preceded her in death. Funeral services will be Wednesday Wednesday at iO a.m. in Morrow- Quinn Mortuary followed by en tombment in Grandview Mausoleum, Mausoleum, Alton Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary mortuary from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
