Zellers Fdmily Assoc. Has 39th Annual Reunion * Approximately 150 persons at- ednt; David Z. Erb. Fort Zeller, tended the 39th annual meeting of the Zeller Family Association at Long's Grove, east of Myers'town, Sunday. Family members attended from various parts of Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Long island, N. Y., and New Jersey. The reunion marked the 249th annivrsary of the coming of the Zellers to America in 1710. Many visited the Zeller Fort, near New- maristown, which is the oldest existing Indian fort in Pennsylvania. The fort was built by their ancestors in 1723 and rebuilt by them in 1745. The all-day session was opened with morning worship with the congregation of Christ Lutheran Church, adjoining the grove. Dinner was prepared at the grove hy Mrs. A. K. Zeller, Sheridan, assisted by members of her fam- iiy. The afternoon program was opened with invocation and m- morial service by Rev. J. Donald Backenstose. pastor of the Tulpe- hocken Reformed Church. Taking part in the program were Mrs. A. K. Zeller, Sheridan; Mrs. Walter Zeller, Lebanon; Mrs. Cyril Hedtricks, Lebanon; Lynette Palmer, Highspire; Laurie McMullen, Camp Hill; Jean and Jeanette Zeller, Sheridan; Warren, Curtis and Harry Zeller, Sheridan, and Joseph Walter Zeller of Long Island, N. Y., counselor, who spoke on the history of the first Zellers to settle in America. Mrs. Walter Zeller and daughter, Patricia, of Lebanon had charge of games and contests. Officers elected for the coming year were: Brockson L. Zeller, Everett, Pa., formerly of Myerstown, president; Edgar Zeller, Reading, first vice president; Mrs. James Nelson, Apollo, second vice president; Mrs. Walter Zeller, Lebanon, third vice presi- Newmanstown, fourth vice president; Mabel Zeller Lutz, Myerstown, secretary; Mrs. William A. ZellC'-, Myerstown, assistant secretary; Edwin L. Zeller. Lebanon, treasurer; Mrs. Donald Yarnell, Myerstown, historian, and Joseph Walter Zeller, Long Island, N. Y., counselor. Prizes were awarded to the following: Pamela Jean Zeller, West Lawn; Daniel Palmer, Highspire; William B. Webber, Bethel; Mr and Mrs. Joseph Zeller, Long Is land; Mr. and Mrs. Charles War ner, Lebanon; Mr. and M r s Charles H.
