M RS. JOHN EUGENE O'KEEFE JR. (Sara Mitchell), Mitchell), daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ledyard Mitchell of Grosse Pointe Farms, Mich., and East Hampton, L.I., was married Tuesday Tuesday to James Wear Walker, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Herbert Walker, 1 Sutton place. South, New York, and Aiken, S.C., for mer St. Louisans. The ceremony was performed in the Ritz Carlton Hotel, New York, by the Rev. Gerald Dillon of New-, New-, port, RI., in the presence of the two immediate families. Mr. and Mrs Walker will live in Old West's! burv L- L- I- I- The bride was graduated in 1936 from Ethrl Walker School, Simsbury, Conn., and was married the following year to her first husband, who lost his life while serving in the Navy in 1943. She has two brothers, Ledyard Jr. and Sherman Mitchell, and one sister, Mrs. Henry Munroe Campbell III, all of Grosse pointe. Mr. Walker, who is related to several prominent St. Lioula families, families, was a member of the Yale class of 1930 and served as a lieu tenant commander on the U.S.S. Wasp during the war. He is a member of the banking firm of G. H. Walker & Co. His brothers are George Herbert Jr. and Louis Walker, both of whom married St. Louis girls, and John Walker, and his sisters are Mrs. Prescott Bush and Miss Nancy Walker. He belongs to the Racquet and Tennis, Tennis, Links, National Golf Links and Meadowbrook clubs, and in addition he is a member of the executive committee of the United Stntes Golf Association.
