Police "potpourri •y PAT VOOT Is it Just the kids 1 know, of does every Juvenile in America today aim at becoming "rich and famous" in a rock music group? The phenomenal success of groups such as The Monkees, and The Cowsills, (a group, friends) and A M-yaar-oM man had confessed to the abduction and murder of a three-year old girl, who had been missing for months and the object of many local searches The headline was this: "YOUTH MELD tN RENEE'S MURDER' and the reader other* seems to prove one thing. Its possible. And its made more posible by reams of publicity, ind-or dough. According to press releases, the father of the Cowsills borrowed $100,000 in order to launch his troup. At any rate, in spare mom« ents the daughters mull over possible names for their "group." And the wilder the better, as far as names and costumes. Which goes back to the immortal words spoken by an editor of my acquaintance, as he tried to make a logical page of pictures from an assistant's muddled efforts. Shuffling the pictures around, he said, "The New York Times prints all the news that's fit to print? We print all the news that fits."
