De Haines, of the One Hundredth Hundredth Ohio regiment, and Corporal J. Stixhi, of the 12th Pennsylvania Cavalry, Yankee deserters from Mixaor's command In Western Virginia. Tha prisoners prisoners represent the feeling among the soldiers, meny of whom are from Virginia, as being sd verse to the war on tbe "Emancipation" basis, and insist that unless the war is conducted aa originally commenced for the restoration of the Union ihey in plain terms give it up."
