EIGHTEEN"COMPLETE LIFE SAVING COURSE Sixteen seniors and two juniors completed the course In life-saving at Falls Mills, under auspices of Bluefield chapter of the .Ajnerlcau Red Cross and the Boy Scouts of America, it wag announced lust night by C. H. Atkinson, scout executive of the Southern West Virginia council, who was in charge of the classes. The course opened last Monday and closed yesterday. The seniors who completed the course were Mary Berkley Hobson, Nell Dillard, June Spangler, Robert Roach, Jim Kahle, Arnold Hurd, Lang Meeui, Everett Taylor, Gilliam Meeni, Roy S, Thompson Jr., Richard Honaker, Carroll Dunning. James Lilly, Jock Johnson, Frank Wood and D. C. Mitchell Jr. The Juniors were Hugh Gilpin and Samuel Dillon. Having completed the course these 18 young people will receive certificates from the American Red Cross and an emblem for their bath ing suit. They are now qualified to teach swimming and waterfront safety methods. There were SO enrolled at opening of the classes. the
