THROOP - ""The Throop base ball team was defeated Labor iDay by the Boulevard team by a score of 6 to 4: for a purse of 200. The feature of the game was the fielding of Telasha for the Boulevard team and the batting of Dougher for Throop. Arrangements are being made for another game, the game to be played next week on the Choctaws' grounds. The game was umpired by Neddo Kelly. , Clarence Ollendyke and Alex McDonald have returned to school, the former to Mansfield and the latter to Philadelphia. One of the largest parades ever held in Throop took place Labor Iay, the occasion being the dedication of the new Slovish cemetery. Societies from, Scrantqn and Dunmorej headed by Knedler's band, and the different societies of Throop, headed by the Throop band, took part In the parade. The grand marshal was Steve Splllar and aides William Kase and William Coleman.
