Hugh and Deila Kirkham wedding announcement
Marsh-Kirkham Miss Deila Joy Marsh became the bride of Hugh Pir- rong Kirkham in a civil ceremony performed by Wilford B. Schulze, LDS bishop, Friday at Memorial House, Memory Park. A reception honored the couple afterward. Monday, the marriage will be solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple by N. Eldon Tanner of the LDS Church first presidency. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mearle Clyde Marsh Sr., 1070 Sterling Dr. Mr. Kirkham is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Elbert Charles Kirkham, 25 S St Attending the bride were Mrs. Graham C. Shaw, matron of honor; Miss Estelle Kirkham, maid ot honor; Mrs. Mearle C. Marsh Jr., Mrs. William D. Marsh, Miss Jackie Back, Miss MarJean Cordner, Mrs. Jerry Lee, Mrs. Roy Rackham, Miss Janet E a tough and Miss Pamela Joy Shaw, Junior bridesmaid. Patra Anne Marsh and Gaylene Doris Shaw were flower girls. Gary Kirkham was best man. Ushers were Milan Ott- ky, Closs Stewart, Graham C. Shaw. Kay Clarke, Mearle C. Marsh D, William D. Marsh, Don W. Marsh, Leon Lemon and Douglas Lemon. Mearle C. Marsh m was ring bearer. After a honeymoon in the Pacific Northwest the couple will reside in Salt Lake City. Mr. Kirkham will continue his civil engineering studies at the University of Utah. He is affiliated with the American Society of Civil Engineers, student chapter, and Lambda Delta Sigma. His bride, a U. of U. graduate, has been teaching school in Salt Lake City. The bridegroom's parents will honor the couple at a buffet luncheon upon their return from their honeymoon. Parties for the couple were given by Miss Jackie Back, Mrs. A. E. Back. Miss Janet Eatough, Miss Estelle Kirkham, Mrs. E. C. Kirkham, Mrs. J. Neil Spendlove and Gary Kirkham.
