Miser, Hon of Joseph and Elizabeth Ash Miser,' , was born In Union township, DeKalb county, Ind July lr, 1816, and died Jan. 18. 1909, afuran IllDess of three years -nd a half, aged 62 yrs 6 mos. and 18 days He baa spend bis whole life in and art-uiid Waterloo. For 21 years he was an extensire stock buyer in DeKalb, Steuben and Allen counties. He was married to Martha J. Boley, May 27, 1868, and to them were born fire sods, Mania A. the present postmaster at Waterloo, Charley E. who resides at the old home- farm, in Franklin township, Burleigh L" who holds a position with the Wabash R. R. Co. and resides at Montpeller, O. Walter B. of the Nesst. Lamp Co. at Duluth, Mlon., and JEd ward N. who lives in Waterloo and is a clerk In D. L. Leas' Dry Goods store He lt-avfs one bro' her, Dayid, who lives at Huntingdon, Ind. . His father, mother aod sifters all have goneon before. The wife aod sons and five grand sons and one grand daughter and five daughters-in-law are left to mourn their loss. The funeral services were held at the home in Waterloo, Thursday morning, Jan. 21, conducted by Rev. F. ' P. Oyenuyer of the U. B. church and ttte bmial was In the Waterloo cemetery. There was, a. very large attendance at the funeral and from out of town the following were present: D. D Miser of Huntington, Ind. Mr. and Mrs. O. J. Miser and children, Mrs. Craft, H. B. Maxwell, Mrs. Os bom, Mrs. Russell Young, Mr. and Mrs. Ge rge CarSpbell, and Mrs. Ntedham, vcf Butler," and Mrs. JYL. Walters, and O. V. Miser, of Moutpelier, 0.,Mr. and Mrs. Fickus of Corunna, Wesley and Emanflel Miser, of AUuurn, Mrs Will Franks and Mrs, T. J. Anpiugh "of Garrett. . . ." The music was furnished by a quartet of male voices; Messrs, . C. R. Reed, Robt. Patterson, F. N. Beidler, and A. P. Meyer,' friends of tbe deceased- ' ' , '- 1 ! , , Mrs' Miser and family ' desire to ex press their gratitude and thauks to the many friends and neighbors who aid' d and sympaibiz d with them in the hours of their bereavement and especially to the singers; nod to Mr D.
