' MRS. FLORA K. R. RICH Long-Time Resident Flora Rich, Oldest in Morgan, Dies MORGAN — Mrs. Flora Kate Rawle Rich, 98, of Richville, believed believed to be Morgan County's oldest oldest resident, died yesterday at the home of a son, Richard H. Rich, in Morgan. Mrs. Rich was a member of the LDS Richville Ward. She had b'een secretary of the ward and Morgan Stake YWMIA, a Relief Society visiting teacher and a member of the ward choir. She was born March 2, 1859, in Bristol, England, a daughter of Richard and Sarah Ann Sweetland Sweetland Rawle. The family came to Richville when she was a child. On Jan. 9. 1880, she was married to William Henry Rich in Salt Lake City. He died Sept. 28, 1923, in Morgan. Surviving are two sons and three daughters, Richard H. Rich, Morgan; John P. Rich, Smithfield; Smithfield; Mrs. Lillian Butters, Bountiful; Bountiful; Mrs. Herbert J- Whittier, Milton; Mrs. Maud R. Geory, Logan; Logan; 38 grandchildren, 103 great-grandchudren, 11 great- great-grandchildr en. Funeral services will be conducted conducted Monday at 1 p.m. in the LDS Morgan Stake Tabernacle by Bishop Ford Dickson. Friends may call at the home of Herbert J. Whittier, Milton, Sunday after 4 pjn. and Monday until 12:30 p.m. Burial in the South Morgan Cemetery, directed by Lindquist and Sons Mortuary.
